Next we did a Five paragraph Essay Outline 

In every essay, writing the thesis statement is a must!

Usually the thesis statement can be found at
 the last sentence of the first paragraph.

*Note: When you're reading, your eyes should be reading faster than you speak.

'The' should be pronounced as 'Thee' when the word before it starts with a vowel : A, E, I, O, U

Colloquial language is not suitable for writing essays. An example is 'kid'. Instead of using the word kid, use the word 'children'.

Transitional words and connectors should be used in essays. Example : 'First of all'



Homework: Do ILL ( Independent Learning Log) during the weekends
                    Do complete the worksheet given out.
